Public Services - Agriculture Department – Disciplinary action initiated against Sri P.
Bhadrachalam, the then JDA, Visakhapatnam now retired and Sri D.Venkatramaiah, MAO.,
V.Madugula (U/S), Visakhapatnam district - u/r 20 of A.P.C.S. (CC&A) Rules, 1991 read with
under common proceedings u/r 24 of A.P.C.S. (CC&A) Rules, 1991 - for miss-placement of
natural calamity affected 930 farmers list of V.Madugula Mandal during 2008 Cyclone received
on September, 11th and 12th September, 2008 - Appointment of Inquiry Officer under rule 20 (2)
and Presenting Officer under rule 20 (5) (c) – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
Whereas an inquiry under rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules,
1991 is being held against Sri P.Bhadrachalam, the then JDA, Visakhapatnam now retired and
Sri D. Venkatramaiah, Mandal Agriculture Officer, V.Madugula (U/S), Visakhapatnam district .
2. And, whereas the Government consider that an Inquiring Authority should be appointed
to inquire into the charge framed against Sri P.Bhadrachalam, the then JDA, Visakhapatnam
now retired and Sri D.Venkatramaiah, MAO., V.Madugula (U/S), Visakhapatnam district.
3. Now, therefore, the Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of
Rule 20 of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991 hereby appoint Smt. D.S.S.Suseela, Addl. Director of
Agriculture -IV, office of the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad as the Inquiring
Authority to inquire into the charge framed against the said Government servant vide reference
4th and 5th read above.
4. And, whereas, the Government consider it necessary to appoint a Presenting Officer to
present the case on behalf of the Government in support of the article of charge against the said
Government servant before the Inquiring Authority;
5. Now, therefore, the Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (5) (c) of
rule 20 of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991, hereby appoint Joint Director of Agriculture,
Visakhapatnam as the Presenting Officer to present the case on behalf of the Government in
support of the article of charge against the said Government servants before the Inquiring
Authority.
6. The Inquiring Authority so appointed shall complete the inquiry and furnish the inquiry
report to Government.
