From the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad Letter No.100656/E6.D/2010, dated: 06.12.2010. 2. From the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad Letter No.100656/E6.D/2010, dated: 15.12.2011. <<<<>>>> O R D E R: In the letter 1st read above, the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad has informed that, Dr.P.Venkat Rao, formerly Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Tangutur, Ranga Reddy District, presently UHP, D.B.R. Mills, Hyderabad has submitted that due to health problems he was absent for duty while working at Primary Health Centre, Tangutur, Ranga Reddy District with effect from 04-09-2002 to 29-02-2004 and he requested for sanction of leave with effect from 04-09-2002 to 29-02-2004 on medical grounds, and further informed that, the authorities competent to grant Extra-Ordinary Leave are specified in F.R.66, but as per FR 26(b)(ii), only the Head of Department is competent to permit the Extra-Ordinary Leave on Medical Certificate to be counted for purpose of allowing increments, if the period of Extra-Ordinary Leave on Medical Certificate is not more than six months and in the instance case the period of Ex-ordinary Leave on Medical Certificate is more than six months and Government is competent to allow such period to be counted for purpose of increments and requested the Government for sanction of leave on medical grounds with effect from 04-09-2002 to 29-02-2004 as per A.P. Leave Rules, 1933 and FR 26(b)(ii). 2. The Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad has been directed to refer Dr.P.Venkat Rao, Medical Officer to the Medical Board, established by the Director of Medical Education and in the letter 2nd read above, the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., Hyderabad has furnished the Medical Board Report furnished by the Superintendent, Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad in respect of Dr.P.Venkat Rao, Medical Officer and the Regional Medical Board, Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad have examined and investigated Dr.P.Venkat Rao, Medical Officer and are of the opinion that, at present he is not suffering from Back Ache, Spinal movements Normal and certified that “He is fit for duty”. 3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby sanction (544) days of Extra-ordinary leave on medical grounds to Dr.P.Venkat Rao, Medical Officer, UHP, DBR Mills, Hyderabad from 04-09-2002 to 29-02-2004 as per the instructions contained in Para-6 of Circular Memo.NO.21102-B/371/A2/FR.I/98, dated 07-08-1998. //p.t.o.//-- 2 -- 4.
