GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT A.P Distillery (Manufacture of Indian made foreign liquor other than Beer and Wine) Rules, 2006 - M/s G.S.B & Co Visakhapatnam – Sanction of additional production capacity of two (2.00) Lakh Proof Litres for the year 2011-12 – Orders – Issued. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REVENUE (Ex.III) DEPARTMENT G.O Rt.No. 226 Dt: 09-02-2012 Read the following:- 1.G.O Ms.No.2018, Rev (Ex.III) Dept, Dt:26.11.2011. 2.G.O Rt.No.1461, Rev (Ex.III) Dept, Dt:09.11.2011 3.From the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, A.P Hyderabad Cr.No.B3/1747/2011/CDB/Ex., dt:31.01.2012. 4.G.O Ms.No. 67, Rev (Ex.III) Dept, Dt: 02.02.2012. *** ORDER:- In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, A.P Hyderabad in his letter 3rd read above, Government, after careful consideration of the matter, hereby accord sanction of two (2.00) Lakh Proof Litres of additional production quota for production of ‘own’ brands costing upto Rs. 400/- per case brands to M/s G.S.B & Co Visakhapatnam for the year 2011-12, in addition to their base quota, under Rule 8 (4) (e) of A.P Distillery (Manufacture of Indian made foreign liquor other than Beer and Wine) Rules, 2006 issued vide references first and fourth read above subject to the following conditions: 1. On grant of permission the licencee shall pay the additional licence fee on such additional production @ Rs.1.50 (Rupees One and Fifty paisa only) per proof litre of additional production of liquor with basic price upto Rs. 400/- per case and @ Rs. 3.00/- (Rupees three only) per Proof litre of additional production of liquor with basic price above Rs. 400/- per case. 2. The licensee shall pay the additional licence fee at the above rate in respect of the entire additional capacity sanctioned irrespective of whether the whole or part of the quantity is utilized by him. 2. The Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, A.P Hyderabad is also requested to take stock of inventory of brands with basic price upto Rs.400/- per case at the time of exhausting the original licenced capacity and report the actual utilization of addl. quota permitted now for such brands so as to prevent any possibility of diversion of this quota to produce brands with basic price more than Rs. 400/- per case which have higher addl. Licence Fee of Rs. 3/- per P.L.
