HEALTH, MEDICAL & FAMILY WELFARE (M1) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 267 Dated: 15.02.2012 Read the following: 1.G.O.Rt.No.862, HM & FW (M2) Dept., dated: 15.07.2008. 2.From the DME, AP, Hyderabad. Letter Rc.No.22394/Buildings/2007, Dated: 24.03.2011. <<0>> O R D E R: - In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have accorded administrative sanction for incurring an amount of Rs.10.80 Crores for taking up (9) works of construction of Hostel Buildings to the Senior Residents in the premises of Government Hospitals at Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Warangal, Tirupati, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, Ananthapur, Guntur, Vijayawada & Kakinada. 2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyderabad, has informed that the estimated cost has increased in respect of the civil works at King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, Government General Hospital, Kurnool and Government General Hospital, Ananthapur; due to increase in foundation quantities and adoption of price adjustment orders issued by Government from time to time; due to increase in quantity of RR Masonry and RCC items, filling up basement and foundation with sand, filling with earth around the basement of building and 4% VAT; and due to revised drawings which resulted in increase of concrete and steel quantities and price adjustment orders issued by Government from time to time, respectively and thus incurred an amount of Rs.66.50 lakhs additionally. 3. The Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad has, therefore, proposed for issue of revised administrative sanction for incurring an amount of Rs.396.50 lakhs, as against the earlier sanctioned amount of Rs.330.00 lakhs, in respect of the above said three Hostel Buildings to Senior Residents. 4. The Government, after careful examination of the proposal, hereby, accord revised administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.396.50 lakhs (Rupees three crore ninety six lakh and fifty thousand only) in respect of the above said (3) civil works of construction of Hostel Buildings to Senior Residents in the premises of King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, Govt. General Hospital, Kurnool and Govt. General Hospital, Ananthapur, as shown below, within the sanctioned amount of Rs.1080.00 lakhs vide G.O. 1st read above: (Rs. in lakhs) Sl. The Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyderabad, and the Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation, Hyderabad, shall take necessary further action in the matter to release the amounts to the respective agencies. 7.
