No. 546, Finance (Expr. Rev) Dept. Dt. 17-2-2012. O R D E R: In the letter second read above, the Commissioner, Endowments Department, Hyderabad has stated that the Government had declared the festival of Mahasivarathri Tirunala at Kotappakonda, Guntur District as “STATE FESTIVAL” in the Government Orders first read above; and sanctioned an amount of Rs.25.00 Lakhs from the funds of the Endowments Department to meet the expenditure for making necessary arrangements at Kotappakonda towards the festival last year in G.O.Rt.No.271, Revenue (Endts.IV) Department, Dt:28.02.2011. He has also stated that the “Mahasivarathri” Festival will be performed from 17.02.2012 to 20.02.2012 this year and huge congregation is anticipated and requested to sanction an amount of Rs.30.00 Lakhs instead of Rs.25.00 Lakhs, from the funds of Endowments Department, so as to provide amenities to the increasing pilgrims / devotees in view of the enhanced rates. 2. In the G.O. 3rd read above, the Finance (Expr. Revenue) Department have issued Budget Release Order releasing an amount of Rs. 20,06,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs and Six Thousand only) as additional funds in relaxation of Treasury Control Orders, pending provision of funds by way of obtaining Supplementary Grants during 2011-12 in addition to the balance BE.2011-12 provision of Rs. 9.94 Lakhs (total comes to Rs.30.00 Lakhs) to the Commissioner of Endowments, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad towards expenditure for making arrangements at Kotappa Konda to provide amenities to the pilgrims / devotees during the “Mahasivarathri” Festival from 17.02.2012 to 20.02.2012 which is declared as a “STATE FESTIVAL”, subject to transferring the expenditure to the Endowments Administrative Fund under the following Head of account: NON-PLAN (Rupees in thousands) Head of B.E.
