NOTIFICATION-I In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (a) of sub- section (1) of Section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Service Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20/1971), the Government hereby declare the services of the Junior Doctors connected with Medical Education as Essential Service for the purpose of this Act as the strikes by them prejudicially result in the infliction of grave hardship on the community. NOTIFICATION-II In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20/1971) Government hereby prohibits the strikes of Junior Doctors governed by Medical Education in public interest which is declared as Essential Service vide Notification No.I above, for a period of six months from the date of issue of the order.
