Read the following:- 1) G.O.Ms.No.98, Revenue (Vig.VI) Department, dated: 22.02.2012. 2) G.O.Ms.No.99, Revenue (Vig.VI) Department, dated: 22.02.2012. * * * * * ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, sanction was accorded to hold a common enquiry against Smt. G.Kanta Bai, former Sub Registrar, Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy (East) (now retired) & another under Rule 24 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, sanction was also accorded to initiate departmental proceedings against Smt. G.Kanta Bai, former Sub Registrar, Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy (East) (now retired) for certain lapses under Rule 9 of Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980. 3. Accordingly, it is proposed to hold an inquiry against Smt. G.Kanta Bai, former Sub Registrar, Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy (East) (now retired) in accordance with the procedure laid down in Rule 20 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CCA) Rules, 1991. 4. The substance of imputations of misconduct or misbehavior in respect of which the enquiry is proposed to be held is set out in the enclosed statement of Articles of charge (Annexure-I). A statement of imputations of misconduct / misbehavior (Annexure-II), a list of documents by which and a list of witnesses by whom the proposed Articles of Charge are sustained (Annexure-III & IV) is also enclosed. 5. Smt. G.Kanta Bai, Sub Registrar (Retired) is directed to submit her written statement of defence within (15) days of the receipt of this order. 6. She is informed that an inquiry under Rule 20 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CCA) Rules, 1991 will be held only in respect of those articles of charges as are not admitted. She should, therefore, specifically admit or deny each article of charge. 7. She is further informed that, if she does not submit her written statement of defence on or before the date specified in para 5 above, the Inquiring Authority may hold the inquiry against her exparte. 8.
