Urban Land(Ceiling & Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999 – Hyderabad Urban
Agglomeration – Surplus lands held by Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust at
Khanamet & Izzatnagar (vgs) Serilingampally(M), R.R.District –
declared as surplus and taken possession by the Government –
Constitute a Committee to study the present activities/financial
requirements of the Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, the Hon’ble High Court of A.P.,
in W.P’s bearing No.20407/08 & 9714/09 pertaining to Gurukul
Ghatkesar Trust, observed that the Learned Addl.Advocate General,
High Court of A.P., informed the Court that the Special Officer &
Competent Authority, ULC., Hyderabad has taken up the matter with
the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., Hyderabad for
setting apart at least 20% of the amount received under the
regularization scheme to enable the Trust to carry out the main
activities of the Trust to achieve the purposes for which it was created
without any hindrance and that the State Government is seriously
considering the proposal.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Chief Commissioner of Land
Administration, A.P., Hyderabad has informed that it was decided in
the meeting held on 11-1-2012 in his Chambers to request the
Government to constitute a Committee to assess the present
administrative and financial status of the Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust
activities and present financial requirements, future expansion and
financial requirements for the setting apart of substantial amount in
furtherance of the objectives of the Trust by the Government as
envisaged in the interim directions of the Hon’ble High Court.
3. Accordingly, the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration,
A.P., Hyderabad submitted a proposal to Government to constitute a
committee with the following Officials:
1. Joint Collector, R.R. District. - Chairman
2. Addl. Commissioner, Endowments Department - Member
3. District Educational Officer, R.R.District - Member
4. Special Officer & Competent Authority, - Member
ULC., Hyderabad.
5. Chartered Accountant - Member
(to be appointed by CCLA)
4. The Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby
constitute the Committee with the above Officials to assess the
present administrative and financial status of the Gurukul Ghatkesar
Trust, its activities and present financial requirements, future
expansion and financial requirements for settting apart of substantial
amount in furtherance of the objectives of the Gurukul Ghatkesar
Trust.

5. The Committee shall submit the recommendations in this regard
within (1) month to Government.
