Letter No.02/Admn.1/2012-2, dt. 15-2-2012 received from the Administrator, Government Pleaders Office, High Court of A.P., Hyderabad. ***** O R D E R In the reference 2nd read above, the Administrator, Government Pleaders Office, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has stated that 30 Computer systems and printers have been purchased by their office during the year 2001. They are being utilized in the Sections and by the staff attached to the Government Pleaders in A.P. High Court and A.P. Administrative Tribunal. M/s. Sai Hi Tech Solutions Kit, Kamalanagar, have been given Annual Maintenance Contract for the said systems of their office. Recently, the printers are often going out of order and though the AMC holders attending to the repairs. But as the printers are very old they are often getting stucked while printing and the paper is getting jammed. There are complaints from the Stenos/Typists frequently, and the AMC people are unable to rectify the problem, since the above spare parts are very old they are unable to procure the spare parts. In the above cited GO orders were issued by the Government delegating the powers to HODs for purchase of computers and its peripherals following duly the procurement through APTS. As their office is badly need of twenty (20) printers a letter has been addressed to M/s A.P. Technological Services, A.P. Hyderabad to submit their quotation for procurement of twenty (20) Dot Matrix Printers with 24 pin 136 columns along with terms and conditions. The amount required for this purpose will be met within the budget provision allotted to their office made for the financial year 2011-12 under budget head “130/133-Office Expenses”. He has therefore requested to accord administrative sanction to incur an expenditure of Rs.348,199.50 within the budget provision made for the financial year 2011-12. 2. In the reference first read above, Government have delegated Financial Powers to the Heads of Departments for purchase of certain common items. 3. In the above circumstances, administrative sanction is hereby accorded to the Administrator, Government Pleaders Office, High of A.P., Hyderabad to incur an amount of Rs.3,48,199.50/- (Rupees Three lakhs forty eight thousand one (Contd…)..2.. hundred ninty nine and fifty paise only) under budget head “130/133 Office Expenses” for purchase of twenty (20) Dot Matrix Printers.
