No. 346 Dated: 16-02-2012. Read the following. 1. G.O.Ms.No-96, Law (LA&J-Home Courts.C) Department, dated:02-09-2011. 2. Registrar (Vigilance), Andhra Pradesh High Court, Hyderabad, Letter R.O.C. No.3150/E1/2004, dated:29-12-2011. *** ORDER: In the G.O. 1st read above, the Government have issued orders Conferring of the powers to the existing Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Godavarikhani by re-designating as Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-cum-VI Additional District and Sessions Judge’s Court at Godavarikhani to try Civil and Criminal cases; 2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Registrar (Vigilance), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has forwarded the draft Notification and requested the Government to approve the same; 3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Registrar (Vigilance), Andhra Pradesh High Court, Hyderabad hereby issue Notification-I under sub-section (6) of section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), and Notification-II under sub-section (1) of section 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Courts Act, 1972. 4. Accordingly, the following Notifications will be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. NOTIFICATION-I In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (6) of section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Andhra Pradesh hereby specifies that with effect on and from the date of publication of the Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette Extraordinary, the Additional Sessions Judge of Karimnagar District, as conferred the powers vide G.O.Ms.No.96, Law (LA&J Home-Courts.C) Department, dated:02-09-2011 shall sit at ‘Godavarikhani’ and dispose of the Sessions cases and other criminal matters as are made over to him by the Sessions Judge, Karimnagar District. NOTIFICATION-II In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Courts Act, 1972 (Act 19 of 1972), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after consultation with the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby specifies that with effect on and from the date of publication of the Notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Extraordinary, the existing Industrial Tribunal-cum- Labour Court, Godavarikhani, by re-designating as Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court-cum-VI Additional District and Sessions Judge’s Court at Godavarikhani, shall sit at Godavarikhani and dispose of the cases and other criminal matters as are made over to him by the Sessions Judge, Karimnagar District.
