Representation from O.Lakshmi Kumar, @ Samson, H/o.Late P.Vijaya Kumari, MPHS (F) Dt. 21.07.2011 4. From the CH & FW, Lr.No.4426/FW.E1/2011, Dt.21.10.2011. -x-x-x- ORDER: In the reference 3rd read above Sri O.Lakshmi Kumar, @ Samson, H/o. late P.Vijaya Kumari MPHS (F), Primary Health Centre, Yerragunta, Ananthapur District has represented for compassionate appointment to his daughter, Kum. O.Beaulah Susmitha in relaxation of rules relating to minimum age on humanitarian grounds, as her age is falling short by two months, i.e after completion of two years from the date of death of her mother i.e on 8.7.2010 and she is eligible in the local area of Chittoor District as she has studied in Chittoor District. 2. In the letter 4th read above, the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Hyderabad has informed that the District Medical & Health Officer, Ananthapur has stated that Smt.P.Vijaya Kumari has joined in duty on 04-09-1985 as MPHA (F) and she has worked 24 years 10 months and 4 days of service in the Department and she was expired while in service on 08-07-2010. Further he has stated that after her death, her daughter Kum. O.Beaulah Susmitha has applied for the appointment on Compassionate grounds and as per certificate produced by the individual her date of birth is 10-09-1994. As such she is having 15 years 9 months and 29 days at the time of death of her mother. As per Govt.Memo.No.618/Ser.A/78- 11,General Administration Department, dated 17-12-1979 and G.O.Ms.No.165, General Administration Department, dt.20-03-1989 Government have given directions that a minor seeking employment on compassionate grounds shall apply for the appointment only after attaining the age of 18 years subject to the condition stipulated in item 13 in Government Memo.No. 618/Ser.A/78-11, General Administration Department, dated 17-12-1979 the relief can be asked for within a reasonable period which may be two years from the date of demise of the Government employees but the spouse or the child of the deceased Government Servant should immediately apply for this relief. So, as per the Government directions, the individual was already been informed that she is not eligible for the compassionate appointment and she is eligible for exgratia i.e. Rs.60,000/- PTO.::2:: 3. In view of the above circumstances, the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, has therefore requested the Government to issue necessary suitable orders in the matter to take further action. 4. As per G.O.1st read above, the District Collector of the concerned district is the nodal authority to allot the eligible dependents to any department for issue of appointment orders. 5. After careful examination of the matter, Government have decided to permit Chittoor District Collector to provide compassionate appointment to Kum.O.Beaulah Susmitha, D/o. Late Smt.P.Vijaya Kumari, MPHS (F) in Primary Health Centre, Yerragunta in relaxation of rules as per her eligibility on humanitarian grounds 6. Action taken in this regard shall be intimated to Government.
