O R D E R:
In the reference 3rd read above, charges were framed against Sri A.
Satyanarayana, Commercial Tax Officer (Retd.) for not maintaining the Registers
and Records properly, while he was working as Commercial Tax Officer, Bhongir
which lead to misplacement of three “C”-Forms filed by M/s. Sai Tirumala Papers
(P) Ltd; with a direction to submit his written statement of defence.
2. In the reference 4th read above, Sri A. Satyanarayana, Commercial Tax
Officer (Retd.) has submitted his written statement of defence stating that he had
maintained all the records, no inconvenience was caused to any Dealer and no lapse
was brought to his notice during his tenure and acted as per rules and that no loss of
revenue to the Government is involved and requested to drop further action
against him.
3. Government have examined the written statement of defence of Charged
Officer keeping in view the report of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, A.P,
Hyderabad reference 6th read above and after careful consideration, hereby drop
further action against Sri A. Satyanarayana, Commercial Tax Officer (Retd.) in the
matter.
4. The Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, A.P, Hyderabad shall take further
action in the matter accordingly.
