From the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Letter No.1055/G5/2008, dated: 11.7.2011. **** ORDER: In the letter 2nd read above, the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has stated that Government vide G.O.Rt.No.1322, Law (LA&J-Home- Courts.A2) Department, dated:11-08-2010 issued orders re-appointed Sri B.Raju, Additional Director of Prosecutions (Retired), as Chief Legal Advisor-cum-Special Public Prosecutor in the O/o. the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad on outsourcing basis for a period of one year from the date of joining on duty and he has reported to duty as the Chief Legal Advisor-Cum-Special Public Prosecutor on 16.8.2010(FN). Since then he has been working in the O/o. the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, in giving opinions on Legal and Service Matters, in addition to in preparing and presenting the material to the concerned Government Pleaders / Public Prosecutor of the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh /Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and also to the Advocate on record of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Further, by virtue of the G.O. 1st read above, his services as Chief Legal Advisor-Cum-Special Public Prosecutor for a period of one year are completed by dated:16.8.2011. Since, the services of the Chief Legal Advisor-Cum-Special Public Prosecutor are highly essential to their department for three more years from 17.8.2011 to 16.8.2014 to attend such work to prepare and present the material in the courts/tribunal to sustain judicial scrutiny. Further, he has been appointed as one of the member of the core committee, re-constituted vide their Office Proceedings No.223/A1/2005, dated:7.1.2011 for finalizing the report in preparation of New Police Act. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has requested the Government to appoint Sri B.Raju, Additional Director of Prosecutions (Retired), as Legal-Advisor-cum-Special Public Prosecutor for a period of 3 years in the O/o. the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. 2. After careful consideration of the matter, Government hereby re-appoint Sri B.Raju, Additional Director of Prosecutions (Retired), as Chief Legal Advisor- Cum-Special Public Prosecutor in the Office of the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, for a period of one (1) year only duly fixing the remuneration as per G.O.Ms.No.145, Finance (PSC) Department, dated: 16.10.2000 (i.e. as per last basic pay minus pension). 3. The following Notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette; NOTIFICATION Under sub section (8) of section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act No.2 of 1974) read with G.O.Ms.No.187, Law (L) Department, dated: 6-12-2000, Government hereby re-appoint Sri B.Raju, Additional Director of Prosecutions (Retired), as Chief Legal Advisor-Cum-Special Public Prosecutor in the Office of the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad for a period of one year only duly fixing the remuneration as per G.O.Ms.No.145, Finance (PSC) Department, dated: 16.10.2000 (i.e. as per last basic pay minus pension).
