Ramesh, Section Officer, Law Department was temporarily promoted as Assistant Secretary to Government, Law Department in the scale of pay of Rs.23,650-650-25600-700-27700-750-29950-800- 32350-850-34900-900-37600-970-40510-1040-43630-1110-46960-1200-49360/- and he was permitted to join duty on 09.02.2012 F.N. in the said post. 2. As on the date of his promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary to Government, Law Department the officer was drawing a basic pay of Rs.23,650/- in the scale of pay of Rs.18,030-490-18520-530-20110-570-21820-610-23650-650-25600-700- 27700-750-29950-800-32350-850-34900-900-37600-970-40510-1040-43630/- in the post of Section Officer, Law Department. 3. Consequent on his promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary to Government, Law Department, the pay of the officer is fixed at Rs.24,300/- w.e.f. 09.02.2012 i.e. from the date of promotion to the post of Assistant Secretary to Government, Law Department and refixed at Rs.25,600/- w.e.f. 01.06.2012 i.e. from the date of accrual next increment in the lower cadre of Section Officer under F.R. 22-B in the scale of pay of Rs.23,650-650-25600-700-27700-750-29950-800-32350-850-34900-900- 37600-970-40510-1040-43630-1110-46960-1200-49360/- in the post of Assistant Secretary to Government, Law Department as shown below: Under F.R. 22 (a)(i) w.e.f. 09.02.2012 i.e. the date of promotion to the post of Asst. Secretary to Govt. Pay as on 09.02.2012 in the post of Section Officer in : Rs.23,650/- the Scale of Rs.18,030-43,630/- Add: One increment : Rs. 650/- : Rs.24,300/- Under F.R. 22-B w.e.f. 01.06.2012 i.e. from the date of accrual of next increment in the lower cadre of S.O. Pay as on 01.06.2012 in the post of Section Officer in : Rs.23,650/- the scale of pay of Rs.18,030-43,630/- Add: Annual grade increment in the cadre of S.O. : Rs. 650/- Rs.24,300/- Add: One notional increment Rs. 650/- Rs.24,950/- Next higher stage in the scale of Rs.23,650-49,360/- : Rs.25,600/- Pay fixed in the post of Asst. Secy. to Govt., Law : Rs.25,600/- Department w.e.f. 01.06.2012 Date of next increment in the post of Asst. Secy. to Govt. will be on 01.06.2013. 4.
