From the Collector & D.E.O, East Godavari, Kakinada, Lr.Rc.No.H4/3535/2010, Dated: 03-11-2011. * * * * * ORDER: In the G.O. 4th read above, an amount of Rs. 4,25,262/- have been released to the Collector & District Election Officer, East Godavari towards payment of rental and electrical charges of godown for storage of Electronic Voting Machines at A.P. State Ware Housing Corporation, Kakinada 2. In the reference 7th read above, the Collector & District Election Officer, East Godavari has stated that when the bills were presented in the District Treasury, Kakinada for the funds sanctioned in G.O. 4th cited were not honoured by the treasury authorities due to freezing of funds and lack of authorization from Finance Department and requested to release an amount of Rs.16,05,048/- towards rental charges for a period from 04/2010 to 03/2012 (24 months) and Rs.60,000/- towards Electricity charges for a period from 10/2009 to 03/2012 (30 months) for making payment to the A.P. State Ware Housing Corporation, Kakinada. 3. Government after examining the proposal decided to accord sanction for release of an amount of Rs. 13,20,663/- (Rupees Thirteen lakh twenty thousand six hundred and sixty three only) to the Collector & District Election Officer, East Godavari towards payment of rental and electrical charges of godown for storage of Electronic Voting Machines at A.P. The Collector and District Election Officer, East Godavari is authorized to draw the amount sanctioned in the para (3) read above and requested to regulate the expenditure to the extent of funds now released. 6. The District Treasury Officer, East Godavari is requested to admit the bills in audit to the extent of funds now released in relaxation of Freezing orders issued vide Memo 5th read above. 7. This order doses not require the concurrence of Finance Department.
