From the CPE,Cr.No. 6680/2010/CPE/A3/A5, Dt:28.12.2011 *** ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, orders have been issued designating the APTS as the agency for procurement of Computer Hardware, Software and IT related equipments and also prepare RFP for projects with value of 5.00 Crores or above. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, A.P. Hyderabad has stated that at present (166) Computers are available in the State in various offices and are not sufficient to cater to the needs of the department. For better performance and computerization of the department another (755) computers are required from Head Office to field level Offices. Thus the total cost of computerization is worked out to Rs.10,37,05,500/-. 3. In the reference 3rd read above the Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, A.P. Hyderabad has requested to accord administrative Sanction as proposed stating that the Department will follow the instructions issued by the Government in IT&C Dept. G.O.Ms.No.4, Dt:1-4-2010 and other relevant G.O’s. 4. In the reference 4th read above the Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, A.P. Hyderabad has furnished the copy of the draft RFP (Request for Proposal) prepared and submitted by the Andhra Pradesh Technology Services towards computerization of the Excise Department under Excise e- Governance Project (EeGP) for approval and requested to release budgetary provision of Rs. 10.00 crores for the year ending 31.03.2012.5. Government, after careful consideration of the matter and in terms of the RFP (Request for Proposal) prepared and submitted by the Andhra Pradesh Technology Service towards computerization of the Excise Department under Excise e-Governance Project (EeGP) accord administrative sanction to the Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise A.P Hyderabad for drawal of an amount of Rs.10,00,00,000/ (Rupees Ten Crores only) from user charges towards purchase of computer Hardware and Software etc, for computerization of the Excise Dept., under Excise e-Governance (EeGP). 6. The expenditure in connection with Computerization of Prohibition & Excise Department shall be debited to the head of account 2039- State Excise, 001 - Direction & Administration, SH (03) – District Offices, 800 - User Charges, 801 - User Charges and other Expenditure and shall be met from the provision made in BE.
