Assn. dt. 21.01.2012 **** O R D E R: In response to the invitation of the Director (Welfare), CCSCSB, New Delhi in the letter 3rd read above, the Government hereby depute the AP State Civil Services Hockey Team consisting of 18 (Eighteen) players including Manager & Coach for participation in the AICS Hockey Tournament 2011-12 scheduled to be held at Astroturf Hockey Stadium Marabadi, Ranchi from 06-02-2012 to 09-02-2012 as mentioned in the Annexure to this Order to represent the A.P State as per the selection list furnished by the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, L.B. Stadium, Hyderabad vide letter 2nd read above. 2. The Government hereby accord sanction to incur an expenditure of Rs.85,700/- (Rupees Eighty five and Seven hundred only) to Sri Vikram Alexander, ASO, Revenue Department, A.P. Secretariat who is nominated as the Manager of the team as detailed below towards meeting the expenses in connection with participation of A.P State Civil Services Hockey Team consisting of 18 members for To & Fro journey period, and also grant 9 days Special Casual Leave from 03-02-2012 to 11-02-2012 for participation in the AICS Hockey Tournament 2011-12. Purchase of Track Suits @ Rs. 800/- per head for Rs. 14,400/- 18 members (800 x 18). 4. Purchase of Shoes @ Rs. 1000/- per head for 18 Rs. 18,000/- members (1000 x 18). 5. Purchase of Uniform @ Rs. 600/- per head for 16 Rs. 9,600/- members (600 x 16). 6. Purchase of Sports material Rs. 200/- 7. Flag & Banner Rs. 500/- 8. Medical Expenses Rs. 500/- 10. Local Conveyance Porterage Charges Rs. 200/- Total Rs. 85,700/- (Rupees Eighty five thousand and seven hundred only) (p.t.o.):: 2 :: 3. The Government hereby nominate Sri Vikram Alexander, ASO, Revenue Department as Manager and Sri S.Srinivas Reddy, ASO, Revenue Department as Coach of the A.P State Civil Services Hockey Team (2011-12). The Manager of the Team is authorized to draw and meet the expenses in connection with journey, DA, purchase of sports material etc. for the Team members to participate in the AICS Hockey Tournament 2011-12 to be held at Astroturf Hockey Stadium Marabadi, Ranchi from 06-02-2012 to 09-02-2012. If any player fails to participate in the Tournament without advance intimation, the expenditure incurred on him / her by way of purchase of Railway Tickets, Uniform etc. should be borne by such defaulting player(s). The team shall return to headquarters in case if they loose the match at first round without waiting till completion of the tournament. The Manager and Coach shall stay till the completion of the tournament and take the participation certificates of the players. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to 2052- Secretariat Genl. Services - MH-090 - Secretariat - SH (12) - Assistance to A. P. Sectt. Service Assn. for Sports & Games – 310-Grant-in-Aid – 312 – Other Grants- in-Aid” and shall be met from the current financial year budget provision of 2011-12. 5. The Manager of the team should purchase Train Tickets, Uniforms, Track Suits etc., for the team members from out of the amount sanctioned in para (2) above and he should submit the Participation Certificates and achievement Certificates etc., in the event along with Utilization Certificate and accounts supported by the Original bills / vouchers including reservation charges (if Train tickets have to be surrendered at Railway Station, Xerox copies should be submitted compulsorily) etc., as mentioned above in triplicate for the amount sanctioned above within 30 days immediately after the completion of the programme. He should remit the unutilized amount, if any available, to Government account under the Head of Account from which the grant is sanctioned, immediately after return to Headquarters. 6. The Manager of the team is also informed that the savings under one specific item shall not be utilized to meet any other item of expenditure. If any expenditure is not supported by original receipt, it will not be accepted and necessary action will be taken to recover the entire amount from the Manager. Failure to render accounts within stipulated period will be viewed seriously and disciplinary action will be taken against the Manager under C.C.A. rules besides recovering the entire advanced amount from monthly salary. 7. If any selected player fails to participate in the tournament without advance intimation, the expenditure incurred on him by way of purchase of Railway Tickets, Uniform etc., should be borne by such defaulting player. 8. The Joint Secretary (Sports), A. P. Secretariat Association, is directed to see that the Manager of the Team submits his Manager’s report within the stipulated time. 9. The General Administration (Claims-C) Department shall draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para (2) above to Sri Vikram Alexander, ASO, Revenue Department, A.P. Secretariat who is nominated as Manager, AICS Hockey Tournament 2011-12, Account No. 52088460856, and IFSC Code – SBHY0020077, State Bank of Hyderabad, Secretariat Branch, Hyderabad, under intimation to the G.A.
