High Court, Hyderabad, Letter R.O.C. No.15/E1/2011, dated:20.03.2012. *** ORDER: In the G.O. 1st read above, the Government have issued orders for Establishment of Additional District and Sessions Court at Narsapur in West Godavari District. In the G.O 2nd read above, Government have accorded sanction of staff and expenditure to the newly established Additional District and Sessions Court at Narsapur in West Godavari District. 2. In the letter 3rd read above, the Registrar (Vigilance), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has requested the Government to approve the issue the Notifications and publishing the same in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. 3. The Government after careful examination of the matter, have decided to approve the Notifications furnished by the Registrar (Vigilance), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. 4. Accordingly, the following Notifications will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:- NOTIFICATION NO-1 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Courts Act, 1972 (Act 19 of 1972), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after consultation with the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby specified that the District Court for the West Godavari District, shall sit at Eluru, Kovvuru, Narsapur, Bhimavaram and Tanuku. NOTIFICATION NO-II In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Andhra Pradesh hereby specifies that with effect on and from the date of the Officer posted assumes charge, the Additional Sessions Judge at Narsapur, as sanctioned in G.O.Ms.No.24, Law (LA&J Home Courts.C) Department, dated 05.03.2012 shall sit at Narsapur and dispose of the Sessions Cases and other Criminal matters as are made over to him by the Sessions Judge West Godavari.
