LAW (LA&J-HOME-COURTS.D)DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No.598 Dated: 28-03-2012, Read the following:- 1) G.O.Rt.No.374,Law(LA&J-Home.Courts.D)Department, dt.04.03.2010. 2) G.O.Rt.No.1339, Law (LA & J, Home Courts.D1)Dept., dt.22.8.2011. 3) From the Registrar General, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, letter ROC.No.391/2010-D1(3), dt.22.12.2011, * * * O R D E R: In G.O.Rt.No.374, Law (LA&J-Home Courts.D)Dept., dt.4.3.2010,the Registrar (Admn.) High Court of A.P. has been permitted to purchase one Ambassador car at a cost of Rs.5.50 lakhs for the use of the Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad and in partial modification of the said orders permission has been accorded for purchase of Accent GLE (Executive) Euro IV Model vehicles (at a cost of Rs.5.75 lakhs) instead of Ambassador car duly surrendering the old Ambassador car bearing No.AP 12D 3277 to the Government videG.O.Rt.No.1339, Law (LA&J-Home Courts.D) Dept., dt.22.8.2011.. Permission has also been accorded by the Government for purchase of 12 Accent GLE (Executive) Euro IV Model vehicles at an approximate cost of Rs.5.75 lakhs each during the financial year 2011-12 for the use of District Judges vide.G.O.Rt.No.1339, Law (LA&J-Home Courts.D1) Dept., dt.22.8.2011, with the conditions stipulated therein. 2. The Registrar General vide.Lr.ROC.No.391/2010-D1(3) dt.22.12.2011 while stating that as the service centers for Accent GLE (Executive) Euro IV Model vehicles are not located in some of the stations in the State it may cause inconvenience if such vehicles as permitted are purchased, and requested the Government to accord necessary permission for purchase of 25 Maruthi Suzuki SX4 VXI MPI vehicles at an approximate cost of Rs.6.75 lakhs each, as it has been decided to purchase the said vehicles for which more service centers are available and to meet the expenditure from out of the overall savings available during the financial year 2011-12 under the Major Head 2014 “Administration of Justice” under Minor Head 105(04) –Civil & Sessions Courts (510) – Motor Vehicles-512- Purchase of Motor Vehicles, by way of reappropriation. The Registrar General has also requested to accord necessary permission authorizing the Registrar, High Court of Andhra Pradesh to draw an amount of Rs.1,63,25,000/- (deducting the amount of Rs.5,50,000/- already drawn but not utilized i.e. 1,68,75,000-5,50,000= 1,63,25,000) on an Abstract Contingent Bill so as to make advance payment to the concerned dealer for purchase of the said vehicles. 3. Government after careful examination of the matter and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.1339, Law (LA&J- Home Courts-D1) Dept., dt.22.8.2011 hereby accord permission to the Registrar General, High Court of Andhra Pradesh to purchase 25 Maruthi Suzuki SX4 VXI MPI-IV Model Vehicles, each at an approximate cost of Rs.6.75 lakhs, for the use of District Judges including the Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, Metropolitan (P.T.O.):: 2 :: Sessions Judge, Hyderabad and Chief Judge, City Small Causes Court, Hyderabad, duly surrendering the old vehicles; and to meet the said expenditure from out of the over all savings available during the financial year 2011-12 under the Major Head 2014 – “Administration of Justice” under Minor Head 105(04) – Civil & Sessions Courts – 510 Motor Vehicles – 512 – Purchase of Motor Vehicles by way of reappropriation; and to drawn an amount of Rs.1,63,25,000 (i.e. 1,68,75,000 – Rs.5,50,000 which has already been drawn and not utilized) on Abstract Contingent Bill in relaxation of the orders issued on economy measures vide.G.O.Ms.No.230, Finance (DCM-I) Dept., dt.15.10.2011. The Registrar, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested to take further necessary action accordingly.
