GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Administrative Reforms – Secretariat functioning, simplification of procedures, streamlining - Constitution of Committee - Orders – Issued. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (AR&T.I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No.630 Dated:13-02-2012 In the Secretaries’ Conference it was decided to appoint a Committee under Sri M.Sahoo, IAS to expedite File Disposal and make the Secretariat functioning more efficient and transparent. 2) In the meantime, the Secretariat Telangana Joint Action Committee has submitted a Study Report on the Government Business and Secretariat Procedures to the State Government, after visiting the States of Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and National Capital Territory of Delhi. 3) Government after careful examination hereby constitute a Committee with the following members: 1. Sri M.Sahoo, IAS, - Chairman Principal Secretary to Govt. Revenue Dept. 2. Sri Asutosh Mishra, IAS, - Member Principal Secretary to Govt. Revenue Dept. 3. Sri Raymond Peter, IAS, - Member Principal Secretary to Govt. Social Welfare Dept. 4. Sri Vijay Kumar, IAS, – Member Secretary to Govt. MA&UD Dept. 5. Smt. P. Manoranjani, - Convenor Deputy Secretary to Govt. (OL & AR&T) General Administration Dept. 4) The Committee will examine and suggest simplification of procedures, putting proper monitoring systems in place and submit concrete proposals for streamlining Secretariat functioning. The Committee will also examine the recommendations given in the report on the Government Business and Secretariat Procedures submitted by Secretariat Telangana joint Action Committee.
