at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, from 31.07.2011 to 21.08.2011 –
Sanction in relaxation of rules – Accorded.

ORDER:
In the letter 4th read above, the Government have issued an Letter of Credit
to the Managing Director, Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha, New Delhi, to extend
treatment on Surgery as required by Sri R.V.Ramana Murthy, Chairman, A.P. State
Cultural Council, A.P. Hyderabad (Cabinet Status) on credit basis subject to ceiling
limit as per the package rates prescribed by the Government from time to time.
2. In the letter 5th read above, the Asst. Manager, (Resource & Utilisation
Review), Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, while furnishing medical bills for
an amount of Rs.19,26,990/- towards the expenditure incurred in respect of Sri
R.V.Ramana Murthy, Chairman, A.P. State Cultural Council, A.P. Hyderabad for the
treatment of Cryptogenic CLD with HCC Milan Criteria with Ascites, during the period
from 31.07.2011 to 21.08.2011 at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, has
requested to reimburse the medical expenditure.
3. In the letter 6th read above, the Director of Medical Education, A.P.
Hyderabad to whom the bills were sent for scrutiny, has stated that after scrutiny of
the bills an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) is found admissible
against the claim of Rs.19,26,990/- and claim may be allowed on getting the
relaxation from the Government since treatment obtained at unrecognized Pvt.
Hospital outside the State not renewed by A.P. Government.
4. Sanction is, therefore, accorded for payment of an amount of Rs.1,00,000/-
(Rupees One Lakh only) to Sri R.V.Ramana Murthy, Chairman, A.P. State Cultural
Council, Government of A.P. towards the expenditure incurred by him for the
treatment of Cryptogenic CLD with HCC Milan Criteria with Ascites, at Indraprastha
Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, from 31.07.2011 to 21.08.2011 in relaxation of relevant
rules.
5. The expenditure sanctioned in para four above shall be debited to “M.H.2013 –
Council of Ministers – 101 – Salary of Ministers and Deputy Ministers – (04) – Salary of
Ministers and Deputy Ministers – 010 – Salaries – 016 – Medical Reimbursement /
Advances”.
6. The YAT&C Department is requested to draw the amount sanctioned in para
(4) above and disburse the same to the Assistant Manager, (Resource & Utilisation
Review), Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, payable at Delhi by way of
Cheque.
