G.O.Rt.No.270, Fin.(Expr.GAD.I) Dept.,dt.27.1.2012. *** ORDER: In the G.O. first read above, Government have approved the updated list of 408 Under Ground Extremists carrying cash rewards as indicated in the Annexures - I and II to the order, for their early apprehension. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad in his letter second read above, has requested for release of an amount of Rs. 36,60,000/- towards cash rewards as announced on 3 arrested and 8 surrendered extremists of CPI (Maoist) in the G.O. first read above. Government, after careful consideration of the proposal and in terms of the orders issued in G.O. third read above, hereby accord sanction for an amount of Rs. 36,00,000/- (Rupees thirty six lakhs only) towards cash rewards, as announced in the G.O. first read above, on 3 arrested and 5 surrendered extremists of CPI (Maoist) as shown in the annexure to this order, during the financial year 2011-12. Out of the expenditure of Rs. 36,00,000/- sanctioned in para (3) above, Rs. 18,00,000/- shall be met from the budget released in the G.O. third read above and the balance amount of Rs. 18,00,000/- shall be met from the Budget provision for the financial year 2011-12 and shall be debited to the Head of Account “2235 – Social Security and Welfare – 60 – Other Social Security and Welfare Programmes – MH 200 – Other Programmes – SH (21) – Rehabilitation of Surrendered extremists – 410 – Secret Service Expenditure.” The Addl. Director General of Police (Intelligence), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is authorized to draw and disburse the amount to the concerned.
