From Sri Prakash, Assistnat(D.R&T), application, Dt.01-12-2011. *** O R D E R: Sanction is hereby accorded for the grant of Marriage Advance of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy five thousand only) to Sri Prakash, Assistant(D.R&T), General Administration(COI)Department for Performing the marriage of his daughter (age 19 years) on 24-2-2012. Sl. The amount sanctioned in para-1 above, shall be drawn and disbursed to him in one lumpsum and is subject to the following conditions:- i. The advance shall bear the simple interest at 5 1/2% per annum for Non-Gazetted Officers; ii. The recovery shall commence from the pay bill two months after the advance is drawn; iii. The recovery of the interest shall commence immediately on completion of the recovery of the principal and it shall be recovered in (10) monthly installments; iv. If the loanees fails to utilise the amount for the proposed for which it has been sanctioned, within three months from the date of drawal, it shall be refunded to Government in lumpsum together with interest accrued thereon; v. The advance sanctioned to the loanees shall be subject to summary recovery, if it is subsequently proved that, it was not utilised for the purpose for which it was sanctioned together with penal interest at 1 ½ times the normal rate, from the date of the recovery; p.t.o..2. vi. In case where the loanee dies before the repayment of the advance and the interest accrued thereon is not completed the outstanding balance and the interest amount shall be the first charge on the Death-cum-retirement gratuity payable to leagal heir or heirs of the loanee as stipulated in the agreement; and vii. The loanees shall submit a certificate of utilisation in Form- IV, appended to the G.O.Ms.No.90, Fin. & Plg.(PPR&L) Department, dt.26-3-1970 within three months from the date of drawal of the advance. If the actual expenditure incurred on account of the marriage is less than the advance drawn the difference should be refunded to the Government forthwith. 3. The expenditure shall be debited to Major Head “7610-Loans to Government Servants - MH-800- Other Advances - SH-05-Marriage Advances”. 4. The agreement bond and Surety Bond have been furnished by the individual and it has been kept in the Office for record. 5. The expenditure shall be met from out of the funds allotted to G.A.(OP.I) Department in the reference 3rd cited. 6. The General Administration (Claims.A) Department are requested to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 1 above to the individual concerned. 7. This order does not require the concurrence of the Finance Department under the rules and orders on the subject.
