From the Collector, Krishna District, Progs. Rc.No.A1/04/2010, Dated: 02-07-2010. ***** O R D E R: . It was brought to the notice of the Government that the officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau trapped Sri V.Srinivasa Murthy, Senior Assistant and Superintendent(FAC) O/o the DBCWO, Machilipatnam Krishna District, while he was demanding and accepting the bribe amount of Rs.5,000/- from Smt. Ch Ramalakshmi, Hostel Welfare Officer(U/S) HWO, Pamarru, Krishna District on 24.5.2010 and arrested on 25.5.2010 at 2.15 a.m., produced before the Spl. Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Vijayawada on 25.5.2010 at 8.00 p.m. and remanded to judicial custody till 10.6.2010 and released on bail on 10.6.2010 at 5.55 p.m., and requested to keep the subject officer under suspension, as he was under judicial custody exceeding 48 hours. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the District Collector, Krishna has placed Sri V.Srinivasa Murthy, Senior Assistant and Superintendent(FAC) O/o the DBCWO, Machilipatnam Krishna District, under suspension w.e.f.25-05-2010 as per sub- rule(1) of Rule 8 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991 and stated he shall continue to be under suspension until the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings/ termination of all proceedings relating to the criminal charge(s). 3. Government after careful examination of the case decided to revoke the suspension imposed against Sri V.Srinivasa Murthy, Senior Assistant and Superintendent(FAC) O/o the DBCWO, Machilipatnam Krishna District, and have decided to reinstate him into service, without prejudice to criminal / disciplinary proceedings pending against him. 4. Government therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( c ) of sub rule (5) of Rule 8 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Service(CC&A) Rules, 1991, hereby revoke the suspension of Sri V.Srinivasa Murthy, Senior Assistant and Superintendent(FAC) O/o the DBCWO, Machilipatnam Krishna District, with immediate effect, and hereby reinstate him into service without prejudice to the criminal / disciplinary proceedings pending against him.
