No. MPID-0324/C.R.No.22/Pol-15.—Whereas, Juhi Maritime Cargo and Logistic Services,
Register No.1610200310305185 Registered Address, Flat No.3, Plot No. 423/424, Sector 1, Ghansoli,
Navi Mumbai, Thane- 400 701, Office Adress-Office No. 617, Areja Corner, 6th Floor, Plot No 71,
Sector No.17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai (hereinafter referred to as “the said Financial Establishment”) and
its, Directors, Manager, Promoters, Partners and its Employees received deposits from depositors
under the scheme to repay the deposits on maturity along with benefits promised thereof to the
depositors ;
And whereas, offence has been registered against the said Financial Establishment and its
Directors, Manager, Promoters, Partners and its Employees at Vashi Police Station, Navi Mumbai
vide Complaint Register No. 119/2020 under sections 406, 409, 420, 506 and 120 B of the Indian
Penal Code (45 of 1860) and sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors
(in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999 (Mah. XVI of 2000), that they have collected the deposits
and have failed to repay the deposits after maturity ;
And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra is satisfied that the said Financial Establishment
and its Directors, Manager, Promoters, Partners and its Employees have failed to repay the deposits
on demand by the depositors and the said Financial Establishment are not likely to repay the deposits
to the depositors ;
And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to attach the monies and
other properties believed to have been acquired by the said Financial Establishment and its Directors,
Manager, Promoters, Partners and its Employees or any other person either in their own name or in
the name of any other person from out of the deposits collected by the said Financial Establishment,
in order to protect the interest of the depositors of the said Financial Establishment and to appoint
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Thane, District Thane as the Competent Authority to exercise control
over the Amounts and other properties attached ;
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section
(1) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Act, 1999 (Mah. XVI of 2000), the Government of Maharashtra hereby, –
(a) attaches the monies and other properties in the name of Juhi Maritime Cargo and
Logistics Services and its Directors, Manager, Promoters, Partners and its Employees or any
other person, as specified in the Schedule appended hereto ; and
(b) appoints the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Thane, District Thane to be the Competent
Authority to exercise control over the monies and other properties attached.
