PR No.22/2026 SEBI and IEPFA Conducted the sixth “Niveshak Shivir” at Bhubaneswar - Proactive Joint Initiative to Minimize Unclaimed Assets and Facilitate Investor Claims for Unpaid Dividends and Shares The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, jointly organized the sixth “Niveshak Shivir” at Bhubaneswar on March 27, 2026. This investor outreach initiative aims to assist shareholders in reclaiming unpaid dividends and unclaimed shares and thereby, reduce the volume of unclaimed investor assets in the system. The Shivir was organized in collaboration with key Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) – NSE, NSDL, BSE and CDSL and Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) - KFin Technologies Ltd., MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd., Bigshare Service Private Ltd. & CAMS. The day-long Shivir witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 285 investors and claimants from Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas. The event featured dedicated service desks under one roof, offering end-to-end assistance on:  The process for claiming dividends and shares that have remained unclaimed for over six years;  On-the-spot updating of KYC and nomination details;  Prompt resolution of claim-related issues;  Processing of pending claims submitted to IEPFA The Niveshak Shivir enabled direct facilitation of unpaid dividends and claims pending for over six to seven years, provided on-the-spot KYC and nomination updates, and Page 1 of 2addressed IEPFA claim issues. Dedicated kiosks were set up by stakeholder RTAs, allowing investors to interact directly with officials and eliminate the need for intermediaries. The event was graced by officials of SEBI, IEPFA, MIIs, and RTAs. The event was graced by Shri Binod Sharma, General Manager, SEBI; Shri Shobhit Srivastava, General Manager, IEPFA; along with other officials from SEBI, IEPFA, MIIs, and RTAs. This sixth edition of the Niveshak Shivir series underscores SEBI and IEPFA’s shared commitment to investor protection and financial empowerment.
