PR No.25/2026 Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Government of India Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Government of India on April 15, 2026. The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjeev Sharma, DDG (AI&DIU), DoT and Shri Sandip Pradhan, Whole Time Member, SEBI, in the presence of senior officers from both the organizations. DoT has developed a Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP), which is a secure platform for real-time intelligence sharing and coordination among various stakeholders, to combat cybercrime and financial frauds by enabling proactive action against the misuse of telecom resources. The MoU will facilitate the sharing of data and information between DoT and SEBI, on regular basis, for the purpose of fighting frauds in securities market. This marks the beginning of enhanced cooperation and synergy between SEBI and DoT. The MoU comes into force from today. Mumbai April 15, 2026 Page 1 of 1
