NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub Section (1) of Section 308 of the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayath Raj Act, 1993, I, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka, do hereby appoint Sri. G.S.Sangreshi, Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Law, Justice and Human Rights as the State Election Commissioner. The term of the State Election Commissioner shall be five years from the date on which assumes office or until he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier, under rule 4 of Karnataka State Election Commissioner’s (Conditions of service) Rules, 2006.
