Amid strong domestic steel demand and resilient mining operations, NMDC delivered its best-ever
second quarter in FY26. The company recorded all-time high production and sales volumes, along
with steady growth across key financial parameters.
In Q2 FY26, production stood at 10.21 million tonnes, up 23% from the same period last year, and
sales reached 10.72 million tonnes, an increase of 10% over Q2 FY25.
NMDC’s operational momentum translated into robust financial results for the quarter. Turnover
surged 30% to Rs. 6,261 crore; PBT rose 35% to Rs. 2,271 crore, and PAT grew 33% to Rs. 1,694
crore. EBITDA also climbed 32% to Rs. 2,385 crore.
Commenting on the results, Shri Amitava Mukherjee, Chairman and MD, NMDC said, “Record
production, record sales, and strong financial growth this quarter are all indicators of our historic
reliability. High-quality ore supply, ambitious expansion plans, and responsiveness to national policy
