Subiect: Supcrsession of DGS Order No. 06 of 2021 -- lssue of f,-Migrations of lndian Seafarers due to the

Whereas, Ministry of External Affairs (OE& PGE Division) vide letter No. Z-l1025/ll/2015-OE-l II dated
16.03.2024 had informed that due to the ongoing technical upgradation from e-Migrate VI to e-Migrate V2, the
services of e-Migration would be suspended from March 18,2024, to March 24,2024.
2. Whereas, to address this issue, the Directorate Ceneral of Shipping, Mumbai, via DGS Order No. 06 of
2074, has requested all stakeholders to conduct manual e-Migration procedures for their recruited seafarers on a
temporary basis. Stakeholders are also urged to facilitate the employment of seafarers with urgentjoining needs until
the system is reinstated.

Now it is submitted that after collaborative efforts of the Directorate General of Shipping with the Ministry
of External Affairs (OE& PGE Division), the integration process of the e-Migration System of the Directorate with
the e-Migration System V2 of the Ministry of Extemal Affairs has been successfully completed.
4. The upgraded online system will now allow all stakeholders to upload seafarers' e-Migration details.
Following successful submission of seafarer details, the e-Migration Number will be automatically generated after a
short period of time.

Further, the manual execution of e-Migration of Seafarers, as mandated vide DGS Order 06 of 2024, is now
hereby rescinded.

This Order will supersede the DGS Order No. 06 of 2024 dated 20.03.2024.
