NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 27th January, 2020
No. 08 /Gaz/P.F./Superannuation/2020.—Mr. Virender Kumar Goyal, officer of Delhi Higher Judicial
Service presently under suspension shall stand retired from Delhi Higher Judicial Service in the afternoon of
31st January, 2020 on attaining the age of superannuation of 60 years.
As disciplinary proceedings for major penalty under Rule 8 of All India Services (Discipline and Appeal)
Rules, 1969 have been ordered to be initiated against Mr. Virender Kumar Goyal, therefore in terms of Proviso (a) to
sub-rule (1) of Rule 6 of All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958, disciplinary proceedings
initiated under Rule 8 of All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969 will be deemed to be proceedings
under All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958 and will be continued and concluded in the
same manner as if, Mr. Virender Kumar Goyal had continued in service.
