The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra Circle,
under the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications (DoT),
organised a Telecom Outreach Programme (TOP) through online mode on May 11,
2026. A total of 35 telecom licensees participated in the video conference.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Satish Chandra Jha,
Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra & Goa, in the presence
of Shri Shashank Bhradwaj, Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA),
Shri Tejas Ramakant Mahire, Deputy Controller of Communication Accounts (Dy.
CCA), along with members of the Revenue Team.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Satish Chandra Jha highlighted that such outreach
programmes are aimed at enhancing awareness among telecom licensees regarding
the basic terms and conditions of the Licence Agreement. He also emphasised theroles and responsibilities of both existing and new licensees in ensuring compliance
and strengthening the telecom sector ecosystem.
During the programme, detailed presentations were delivered by the departmental
team covering various aspects of the financial conditions of the Licence Agreement,
including licence fee payment procedures, assessment dues, Bank Guarantee
related provisions, the SARAS platform, and grievance redressal.
A key feature of the event was the interactive one-to-one discussion session with
telecom licensees, which enabled participants to seek clarifications and discuss
operational concerns directly with departmental officials.
Shri Tejas Ramakant Mahire, Dy. CCA, reaffirmed that the Office of CCA,
Maharashtra remains committed to supporting all telecom licensees, particularly
new entrants, and ensuring a transparent, efficient, and facilitative telecom
ecosystem.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Shashank
Bhradwaj, Jt. CCA, O/o CCA, Maharashtra & Goa.
