He served as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from April, 2002 to April, 2008. Born on the 11th of November, 1936, at Paunar in Wardha District of Maharashtra, Shriman Datta Meghe Ji started his legislative career as a Member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and served that Assembly for three terms.
