ेजर्जनयम सरकारी रािपत्र में प्रकािन की जतजथ से लाग ूहोंगे। 2. पठरभाषाएं.- (1) इन जर्जनयमों में, िब तक दक संदभ ासे अन्यथा अपेजक्षत न हो,- (क) “अजधजनयम” स ेतात् पया ऊिाा संरक्षण अजधजनयम, 2001 (2001 का 52) से ह;ै (ख) "अनुसूची" से तात्पया इन जर्जनयमों के साथ सलं ग्न अनुसूची स ेहै; (2) इसमें प्रयिु तथा पठरभाजषत नहीं दकये गये, दकन्तु अजधजनयम में पठरभाजषत िब्दों और अजभव्यजियों के तात् पय ा क्रमिः अजधजनयम में जनर्दष्टा अनुसार होंगे। 3. उद्देश्य.- इन जर्जनयमों का उद्देश्य उन आर्श्यक जर्र्रणों और सूचनाओं को जनर्दाष्ट करना ह ै जिन्ह ें लेबलों पर प्रदर्िता दकया िाना चाजहए। 4. प्रयोज्यता.- ये जर्जनयम ऊिाा दक्षता ब्यरू ो (उपकरण लेबललंग) जर्जनयम, 2025 के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची I के अतं गता जनर्दाष्ट सभी उपकरणों या उपस्ट्करों पर लागू होंगे। 5. लबे ल जर्र्रण.- लबे ल का जडिाइन, रंग, आकार, सामग्री No. 5506/BEE/S&L/LP/2025-26.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of section 58 read with clause (d) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (the Bureau) with the previous approval of the Central Government, proposes to make the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Label Particulars) Regulations, 2025, the proposed draft Regulations are hereby published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, as required by sub-section (1) of section 58 of the said Act, for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and inviting their suggestions and objections (if any); and the notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date of their publication in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary; Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Director General of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, 4th Floor, Sewa Bhawan, R.K. Draft Regulations 1. Short title and commencement.– (1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Label Particulars) Regulations, 2025. (2) These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Definitions.- (1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) “Act” means the Energy Conservation Act, 2001(52 of 2001); (b) “Schedule” means the schedule annexed to these regulations; (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined, but defined in the Act, shall have meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act. 3. Objective.- The objective of these regulations is to specify the essential particulars and information that must be displayed on labels. 4. Applicability.-These regulations shall be applicable to all appliances or equipment as specified under Schedule I annexed to Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Appliance Labelling) Regulations, 2025. 5. Label Particulars.- The design, colour, size, content and placement of label shall be as specified in the Schedule A annexed to these regulations.
