The Central Govt. hereby appoints Shri Rajiv Sharma, former Secretary General, National Human Right Commission, as a part-time member of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for a period of three years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.
This notification, S.O. 1148(E), issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Department of Telecommunications, announces the appointment of two part-time members to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Dr. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Shri Rajiv Sharma, former Secretary General of the National Human Rights Commission, are appointed for a term of three years from the date they assume office or until they reach the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.
