G.S.R. 844(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971) and in supersession of the Government of India, Ministry of Shipping
(Ports Wing), Notification No. G.S.R. 761(E) dated 22nd September, 2011, Notification No. G.S.R. 651(E) dated
11th August, 2009, Notification No. G.S.R. 90(E) dated 23rd February, 2005 and Notification No. G.S.R 713(E) dated
1st September, 2010 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, the Central Government hereby appoints the
officers mentioned in Column (2) of the Table below, being the officers of the Kolkata Port Trust, equivalent to the rank
of Gazetted Officers of the Government of India to be Estate Officers for the purpose of the said Act, and the said officers¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on the ‘Estate Officers’ by or under the said Act,
