The Central Govt. hereby appoints the persons mentioned against serial number 1-4 in the table below, to be trustees on the Board of New Mangalore Port Trust for the term upto 31-3-2015.
This notification, No. 115, issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Ports Wing, Government of India, and dated February 25, 2015, supersedes Notification No. G.S.R. 650E, dated 24th September, 2013. It announces the appointment of four individuals as trustees on the Board of New Mangalore Port Trust. The appointments, made under Section 3(1)(c) read with Section 3(6) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, are effective until March 31, 2015.
The appointed trustees are:
1. Shri Nithinkumar, representing Other Interest as envisaged under Section 31(c)(i)(7) of Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, Chandan Mane, Emmekar Cross Road, Mangalore-575001.
2. Shri Sureshchandra Shetty, representing Other Interest as envisaged under Section 31(c)(i)(7) of Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, Shashtavu Ballal Bhag, Mangalore-575003.
3. Shri Sathyajith Surthkal, representing Other Interest as envisaged under Section 31(c)(i)(7) of Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, Shakthi Hotel Suraj International, Surthkal, Mangalore.
4. Shri Ganesh Rao, representing Other Interest as envisaged under Section 31(c)(i)(7) of Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, Vasudeva Vivekananda 2nd Cross, Santhu: Mangalore-575005.
