New Delhi, the 30th December, 2014
S.O. 12(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number
S.O. 1990(E), dated the 1st July, 2014 issued under sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition
and Development ) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 4th August, 2014, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to
acquire the land and all rights in and over the said land measuring 58.86 hectares (approximately) or 145.38 acres
(approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And, whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the
Central Government;
And, whereas, the Central Government after considering the aforesaid and after consulting the Government of
Jharkhand is satisfied that the land and all rights in and over the said land measuring 58.86 hectares (approximately) or
145.38 acres (approximately) described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that the land and all rights in and over the said land measuring 58.86 hectares
(approximately) or 145.38 acres (approximately) described in the Schedule annexed hereto are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing number REV/17/2014, dated the 20th October, 2014 of the area covered by this notification
may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Bokaro, Jharkhand or at the Office of Coal
