The Central Govt. hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Malwa Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations, 2010, These regulations may be called Malwa Gramin Bank Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2013.

2. मालवा मामीण ब(cid:10)क सेवा 4विनयमावली 2010 (Gजस ेइसके पNात उ5 4विनयमावली कहा जाएगा) के 4विनयम 2 म Mखंड
(छ) के िलए उप 4विनयम (1) म MिनFनिलGखत खंड ूितःथा4पत (cid:17)कया जाएगा, नामतः:-
(छ) 'सRम ूािधकारD' स ेताSपय Aहै
(i) ःकेल-III, IV और V के अिधकारD के संबंध म MअTयR
(ii) ःकेल-I और II के संबंध म Mमहाूबंधक; और
(iii) समूह 'ख' कायाAलय सहायक (बहुUेशीय) और समूह 'ग' कायाAलय पVरचारक (बहुUेशीय) जैसे कमचA ाVरय6 के संबंध

Sangrur, the 1st April, 2014
No. L-17020/Planning/2366.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Regional Rural Banks
Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Board of Directors of Malwa Gramin Bank after consultation with State Bank of Patiala
being the Sponsor Bank and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and with the previous sanction of
the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Malwa Gramin Bank (Officers and
Employees) Service Regulations, 2010, namely:—
1. (1) These regulations may be called Malwa Gramin Bank Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2013.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In regulation 2 of the Malwa Gramin Bank (Officers and Employees) Service Regulations, 2010 (hereinafter
referred to as the said regulations) in sub-regulation (1), for clause (g), the following clause shall be substituted,
namely:—
(g) “Competent Authority” means,—
“(i) the Chairman in respect of Officer Scale-III, IV and V;
(ii) the General Manager in respect of Officer Scale-I and II; and
(iii) an officer not below the rank of Scale-IV in respect of employees relating to Group ‘B’ Office
Assistant (Multipurpose) and Group ‘C’ Office Attendant (Multipurpose) as decided by the Board”;
3. In regulation 50 of the said regulations, for clauses (i) and (ii), the following clauses shall be substituted,
namely:—
“(i) the Board, where the Chairman is Competent Authority;
(ii) the Chairman, where the General Manager is Competent Authority; and
(iii) the General Manager, where the Competent Authority is decided by the Board under sub-clause (iii) of
clause (g) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 2.”
