The Central Govt. hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Silk Board (Consolidated) Recruitment Rules, 1989, These rules may be called the Central Silk Board (Consolidated) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
This notification, G.S.R. 193E, issued by the Ministry of Textiles and published in the Gazette of India on March 13, 2015, enacts the Central Silk Board Consolidated Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2015. These rules amend the Central Silk Board Consolidated Recruitment Rules of 1989, specifically Schedule I, serial number 56, pertaining to the post of Field Assistant. NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th March, 2015
G.S.R. 193(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by section13 of the Central Silk Board Act, 1948 (61 of 1948),
the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Silk Board (Consolidated)
Recruitment Rules, 1989, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Central Silk Board (Consolidated)
Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Silk Board (Consolidated) Recruitment Rules, 1989 in Schedule-I, against serial
number 56 relating to the post of “Field Assistant”, in column (11) for the entry the following shall be substituted,
namely :—
“100 per cent by direct recruitment
Central Silk Board employees working in the cadres of Assistant Technician, Attender,
Chowkidar, Safaiwala and Skilled Farm Workers possessing the prescribed educational
qualification are eligible to apply. The service rendered by them as Casual Labourer, Time Scale
Farm Worker/Skilled Farm Worker and Group-D employees in the Central Silk Board shall also
be counted for the purpose of age relaxation.”
