िनयमावली, 1933 म% आगे और संशोधन करन े हते ु एत+ारा िन,न िलिखत िनयम बनाती ह:ै —
1111.... (1) इन िनयम(cid:29) को भारतीय डाकघर (चतथु 2 संशोधन) िनयमावली, 2014 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये िनयम राजप4 म% (cid:23)काशन क(cid:10) तारीख से लागू ह(cid:29)गे।
2222. भारतीय डाकघर िनयमावली, 1933 म%, िनयम 46 के अंतग2त उप-िनयम (1) के िलए िन,न िलिखत
उप-िनयम (cid:23)ित9थ ािपत (cid:4)कया जाएगा, नामत:—
‘‘(i) (cid:4)कसी भी ऐसी व9त ु को डाक से पारेिषत नह= (cid:4)कया जाएगा, िजसम% या िजसके कवर पर कोई ऐसी साम>ी हो,
जो िविध ?य व9थ ा बनाए रखने को (cid:23)ितकूल Aप से (cid:23)भािवत करती हो अथवा जो (cid:4)कसी समुदाय अथवा ?य ि(cid:27)य(cid:29) के
(cid:4)कसी वग2 का (cid:23)(cid:24)य B Aप से नुकसान अथवा अिहत कर सकती ह।ै ’’

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th January, 2015
G.S.R. 22(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub- Section (2) of Section 21
read with Section 74 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, in Rule 46, for Sub Rule (1), the following Sub- Rule shall be
substituted, namely:—
“(i) No article shall be transmitted by post which has thereon, or on the cover thereof, any matter which is
prejudicial to the maintenance of law and order, or which tends directly to cause loss or injury, to any
community or class of persons whatsoever.”
