The Central Govt. hereby nominate following two members of Lok Sabha in place of Smt. Bijoya Chakravarty and Sh. Abdul Mannan Hossain to serve as member in the National Jute Board for a period of two years.
This notification, S.O. 219(E), issued by the Ministry of Textiles, Jute Section, Government of India, dated January 21, 2015, announces the nomination of two new members to the National Jute Board. In exercise of powers conferred by Sub-Section 4(b) of Section 3 of the National Jute Board Act, 2008 (No. 12 of 2009) and in continuation of notification S.O. 1485(E) dated 07/06/2013, Smt. Butta Renuka, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Shri Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) are nominated as members, replacing Smt. Bijoya Chakravarty and Sh. Abdul Mannan Hossain. Their term of service on the National Jute Board is two years from the date of this notification. The file number for this notification is F. No. 312009/Jute Pt. A.

S.O. 219(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Sub-Section 4(b) of Section 3 of National
Jute Board Act, 2008 (No.12 of 2009) and in continuation to the Notification of the Government of
India in the Ministry of Textiles S.O. 1485(E) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), dated 07-06-2013, Government of India hereby nominate
following two members of Lok Sabha in place of Smt. Bijoya Chakravarty and Sh. Abdul Mannan
Hossain to serve as member in the National Jute Board for a period of two years from the date of the
notification:—
