The Central Govt. hereby notifies, the election of the members at the ordinary elections held on the 17th May, 2015 in respect of the Cantonment Boards specified in the Table below.
This notification, S.R.O. 7E, issued by the Ministry of Defence, announces the results of ordinary elections held on May 17, 2015, for members of various Cantonment Boards. The notification, dated June 3, 2015, is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 8 of section 12 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of 2006). It specifies the names of elected candidates for each ward in the Cantonment Boards of Ahmedabad, Bakloh, Badamibagh, Jammu and Ramgarh, including reserved seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women. For example, in Ahmedabad Cantonment Board, Ganesh Girishkumar Ramchandra was elected for Ward No. VII, which is reserved for Scheduled Castes.
