The Central Govt. hereby notifies the nomination of the following persons to serve as member of the Central Silk Board for a period of three years from the date of this Notification subject to the provisions of the said Act.
This notification, S.O. 2599, issued by the Ministry of Textiles on October 9, 2014, announces the nomination of individuals to serve as members of the Central Silk Board for a period of three years. This action is taken by the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by subsection 3 of Section 4 of the Central Silk Board Act, 1948 (61 of 1948).

* The Commissioner for Sericulture Development and Director of Sericulture, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore, nominated by the Government of Karnataka under Section 4(3)(d) of the Act.
