The Chief Justice of India hereby makes the following amendment to the Supreme Court Officers and Servants (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1961.

* Minimum of 5 years of service in Library Management, in case of direct recruitment, or 4 years experience in the required field in the feeder cadre in case of promotion.
* Specialized knowledge in conducting research work regarding legal matters, documentation work, preparing bibliographies of cases, and examination and dissemination of legal articles published in various law journals.
Recruitment can be direct, by deputation, or by promotion of officers holding analogous posts in the Library on Central/State Govt./High Court, based on merit in case of deputation.

Constitution, the Chief Justice of India hereby makes the following amendment to the Supreme Court
