के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अर्ाात् :--
1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम जनिााचनों का संचालन (िसू रा संिोधन) जनयम, 2024 ह ै।
(2) ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे ।
2. जनिााचनों का संचालन जनयम, 1961 के जनयम 93, के उपजनयम (2) के खंड (क) में, “संबंजधत”, िब्ि के पश्चात् पर,
“इन जनयमों में यर्ाजिजनर्िाष्ट”, िब्ि अंत:स्ट्र्ाजपत दकए िाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th December, 2024
S.O. 5517(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 169 of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Central Government, after consulting the Election Commission of India, hereby makes the
following rules further to amend the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, namely :–
1. (1) These rules may be called the Conduct of Elections (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, in rule 93, in sub-rule (2), in clause (a), after the word “papers”,
the words “as specified in these rules” shall be inserted.
