(2) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (जििु पोषण के जलए खाद्य) जर्जनयम, 2020 में और संिोधन करन े के जलए कजतपय जर्जनयमों का जनम्नजलजखत प्रारूप बनान े का प्रस्ट्तार् करता ह,ै िो दक इससे प्रभाजर्त होन े र्ाले संभाजर्त सभी व्यजियों को सूचना िने े के जलए उि अजधजनयम की धारा 92 की उपधारा (1) की अपेक्षा के अनुसार एतद्द्वारा प्रकाजित दकया िाता ह;ै और एतद्द्वारा यह सूचना िी िाती ह ै दक उि प्रारूप जर्जनयमों पर उस तारीख स े साठ दिनों की अर्जध समाप्त होन े के पश्चात ् जर्चार दकया िाएगा, जिस तारीख को इस अजधसचू ना को प्रकाजित करन े र्ाल े रािपत्र की प्रजतयां िनता को उपलब्ध कराई िाएंगी। यदि कोई आक्षेप या सुझार् हो, तो उस े मुखय कायवकारी अजधकारी, भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण, एफडीए भर्न, कोटला रोड, नई दिल्ली–110002 को अथर्ा regulation@fssai.gov.in पर ई-मले द्वारा भेिा िा सकता ह।ै 7989 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] उि प्रारूप जर्जनयमों के संबंध में जनर्िवष्ट अर्जध की समाजप्त से पूर्व दकसी भी व्यजि से प्राप्त होने र्ाले आक्षेपों या सुझार्ों पर भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण द्वारा जर्चार दकया िाएगा। प्रारूप जर्जनयम

1. इन जर्जनयमों को खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (जिि ु पोषण के जलए खाद्य) संिोधन जर्जनयम, 2026 कहा िा सकता ह।ै

2. खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (जििु पोषण के जलए खाद्य) जर्जनयम, 2020 के जर्जनयम 3, उप-जर्जनयम 6 म,ें पैराग्राफ के पश्चात् जनम्नजलजखत परंतुक अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथावत:् - ‘परंतु 6 माह तक की आय ुके जििुओं के जलए आिजयत उत्पािों में सुक्रोि और फ्रक्टोि न जमलाए िाएं।’ राजित पुनहानी, मुखय कायवकारी अजधकारी [जर्ज्ञापन-III/4/असा./401/2026-27] नोट - मूल जर्जनयम भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 3, खंड 4 में अजधसूचना संखया फा.सं. एसटीडीएस/03/नोटटदफकेिन (आईएफआर)/एफएसएसएआई-2017, दिनांक 4 दिसंबर, 2020 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकए गए थ े और तत्पश्चात ् अजधसूचना संखया फा.सं. एसटीडी/एसपी-05/टी(आईएफआर-01), दिनांक 30 अगस्ट्त, 2022 द्वारा संिोजधत दकए गए थे।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS AUTHORITY OF INDIA

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th October, 2026 F. No. RCD-09002/3/2026-Regulatory-FSSAI.—The following draft of certain regulations, further to amend the Food Safety and Standards (Foods for Infant Nutrition) Regulations, 2020, which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India proposes to make with the previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 92 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) thereof, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public.

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi- 110002 or sent on email at regulation@fssai.gov.in.

Objections or suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft regulations before the expiry of the period so specified, shall be considered by the Food Safety and Standards Authority.

Draft Regulations

1. These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Foods for Infant Nutrition) Amendment Regulations, 2026.

2. In the Food Safety and Standards (Foods for Infant Nutrition) Regulations, 2020, in regulation 3, in sub- regulation 6, after the para, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: ‘provided that sucrose and fructose shall not be added in the products intended for infants up to he age t of 6 months’ RAJIT PUNHANI, Chief Executive Officer [ADVT.-III/4/Exty./401/2026-27] Note. -The principal regulation were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part III, Section 4, vide notification number F.
