New Delhi, the 18th June, 2019
No. X-11/14/1/2019 (Part)-P&D.—The following draft regulations further to amend the Employees’
State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950, which the Employees' State Insurance Corporation purposes to
make in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 97 of the Employees’ State
Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), is hereby published under 59A of the said Act for information of all persons
likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations will be taken into
consideration after expiry of a period of Thirty days from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette in
which this notification is published, are made available to the public:—
1. Any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft
regulations within the period specified above, will be considered by the Employees' State Insurance
Corporation.
2. The objections and suggestions, if any, may be addressed to Shri S. Ravichandran, Additional
Commissioner (P&D), Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Panchdeep Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg, New Delhi-

DRAFT REGULATIONS
1. These Regulations may be called Employees’ State Insurance (General) Amendment
Regulations, 2019.
2. In the Employees’ State Insurance (General) Regulation, 1950, in Regulation 10(d)(ii) for the
words “Regional Deputy Medical Commissioner”, the words “State Medical Officer” shall be substituted.
