No. 16(643)/UD/W/2016/1887.—The following recruitment regulations made by the Delhi Water Board in exercise of the power conferred by clause (m) sub-section (2) of section 109 read with sections 7 and 51 of the Delhi Water Board Act, 1998 (Delhi Act. 4 of 1998), approved vide Competent Authority orders dated the 25th April, 2016 and concurred by the Union Public Service Commission vide letter F.No. 3/24(7)/2016-RR dated the 9th August, 2016 for the post of DIRECTOR (HORTICULTURE) in the Delhi Water Board, Delhi are hereby published, namely :- 1. Short title and commencement.—(i) These regulations may be called the DIRECTOR (HORTICULTURE) Recruitment Regulation, 2019. (ii) They shall come in to force on the date of their publication in the delhi gazette. 2. SC IN AGRICULTURE WITH HORTICULTURE AS A SUBJECT FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTE; OR M.SC. IN BOTANY WITH HORTICULTURE AS A SUBJECT FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTE; OR M.SC. IN HORTICULTURE FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTE; OR M.SC. IN FLORICULTURE AND LANDSCAPING FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTE; AND (II) EIGHT YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HORTICULTURE INCLUDING ORNAMENTAL GARDENING AND INCLUDING TWO YEARS ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE. DESIRABLE: PH.D WITH SPECIALIZATION IN HORTIFCULTURE FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTE. NOTE :- 1: THE DEPARTMENTAL OFFICERS IN THE FEEDER CATEGORY WHO ARE IN DIRECT LINE OF PROMOTION WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION FOR APPOINTMENT ON DEPUTATION. SIMILARLY, DEPUTATIONISTS SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION FOR APPOINTMENT BY PROMOTION.
