No. 29-CA/Law/D-196/2018.—The Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat has, in pursuance of Section
21(6)(c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 in Reference Case No. 2/2006, ordered on 3rd November,
2017 that the name of Shri Manubhai A. Panchal, Chartered Accountant, B-12 IFL, Vasupujya Chambers, Nr
Income Tax Circle, Ashram Rd, Ahmedabad, Gujarat- 380014 (M.No. 031000) be removed from the Register
of Members for a period of two years for violation of Clauses (5), (6), (7), (8) & (9) of Part I of the Second
Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section (2) of Section 20 of the said Act read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations,
1988, it is hereby notified that the name of Shri Manubhai A. Panchal stands removed from the Register of
Members for a period of two years w.e.f. 01.03.2018. During the aforesaid period he shall not practise as a
Chartered Accountant in terms of the said order of the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat.
